Together with the Ukrainian Art Aid Center, continued efforts are underway to support museums located in border and frontline regions in order to protect Ukraine’s cultural heritage from destruction caused by Russian aggression.

Thanks to a truck provided by the Agency within the framework of the Cultural Emergency Response Black Sea Regional Hub (CER), 10 tons of critically important materials have already been delivered to museum professionals in the Kharkiv region. Notably, the delivery took place on International Volunteer Day.

This assistance is aimed at safeguarding museum collections under constant threat of shelling and damage and is part of a broader emergency response program to protect Ukraine’s cultural heritage.

Further deliveries are planned for museums in the Sumy region, as well as in Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Dnipro.
