Today marks the fifth day of active work on documenting and stabilizing rescued items after the missile strike on March 25, 2024.
The strike completely destroyed the building of the Kyiv State Academy of Arts named after Mykhailo Boychuk. Under the rubble were art studios, the sports hall, and the Academy’s museum room, which housed the best student diploma works — true gems of Ukrainian art.
Rescue and stabilization efforts are carried out by experts in cultural heritage preservation. The project is supported by UNESCO, enabling the effective preservation and documentation of the Academy’s artworks.
